Stairs, meet your new railing

This week Erick has started constructing the railing for the stairs and landing. It's going to be rugged! The uprights are 3 x 6 hemlock and are very firmly attached.

You also may notice that we have our wood for the winter. You can't get much more conveniently located wood storage than that! We also have some walls upstairs! Although they've been there since May/June, I believe this is the first appearence they've made on my blog. I suppose they're deserving of their own post though, so I'll leave it at that for now. :)
