Energy Audit
Hi guys, long time no post. (Sorry!)
I'd just like to mention that we had an inspector come out today to do our energy audit. And while we will have to wait 6 weeks or so to get the final result, the house did well on the air tightness test.
The inspector has done over 1200 homes, and he said ours is easily in the top three he's ever done for air tightness. He also said he usually goes around and identifies areas of improvement for a house's air tightness, but in our case he felt it wasn't necessary.
