Gladiola Sketches

This Saturday I bought some gladiolas at the market with the intention to sketch them. I did five one hour sketches, and here they are, in the order that I did them. I know they're far from perfect.. but I was limiting myself to an hour on each one.

Roses finally finished

Well I finally finished the roses! I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It needs a name however, so if you have any suggestions let me know! :) It's about 12x19 inches.

I decided I need to be brave and make some pretty major changes to the three roses. Still not finished, but I like the direction this is heading now moreso than before.

This is a setup I put on the kitchen table. Took about 2 hours, but it's not done yet. It still needs a lot of work. Below is the finished version... About another hour or two of work "in studio" from memory and imagination. Here it is again, how it's probably going to be cropped in a frame. If I ever frame it. :)
