A new technique
After all the recent watercolour painting, I thought I'd try some pastels with a watercolour underpainting. I'm sure there are some wonderful affects that can be achieved this way! This is my first pastel with a watercolour underpainting.

Private collection eh? Makes us sound almost 'cultured'. Seriously, it's a great painting. It's proudly on display already!

Did you guys get a different frame for it?
Nope... not for now. My xmas budget is totally shot. Maybe sometime afterwards. Either way, it looks good and we've got a spot for it with great lighting.
